And the mop remains...

Matteo's first haircut didn't last very long- the curls were back in about a week. So I had the brilliant idea- actually I was kinda guilt-tripped into it by my stylist Frank after I told him about Matteo's first haircut- to take him with me when I got my hair cut so Frank could do it. I figure he'd be sitting on my lap (Matteo, not Frank) so he'd be fine. Umm, wrong. At the kids place we went to they just go at it, spray and cut, don't worry if the kid is squirming or crying. Apparently Frank is used to people who actually want to get their hair cut and didn't quite have the heart to hack at Matteo's hair while he squirmed and tried to run away.

Oh well.

So the mop remains. And let it be known that I am okay with it but Steve is the one who has been wanting to get it cut again ever since it grew back out. That being said, they do have a lot of fun giving Matteo shampoo mohawks and devil's horns in the bath. And I will enjoy his lovely curls while they last- after all, long hair is in for boys now, right? And Matteo is nothing if not on the cutting edge of baby boy fashion.

Growing like a weed

Blame it on the slideshow screensaver.

If the monthly Yahoo photo albums weren't enough to satisfy your cravings for all things Matteo, I've started this blog to keep y'all updated on the new things Matteo is learning, doing, destroying, and dropping down into the heater (it's wheat crackers this week) every day. I blame it on the screensaver because I'll walk into the computer room and see a picture of this little (but chubby, dang he was chubby, which makes sense since all he did was EAT in those first few months!) baby on the screen and wonder where he went and how this crazy toddler got into our house. He's been changing so much and so fast that I forget way too much just doing monthly updates.

I will probably keep doing the Yahoo photos but put some photos on here too. I hope to be able to update this every few days! Thanks for reading! :)
