Take us out to the ballgame!

We decided to make the most of the weekend Steve got off from work for Jillian's wedding and got tickets to the San Francisco Giants game on Sunday. It was both Dario and Matteo's first SF Giants game (we saw a San Jose Giants game with Matteo last spring). We took Caltrain from Santa Clara to San Francisco, which took about an hour and a half. It was perfect- Matteo finally got to ride a train and Dario got to snooze in a carrier on my chest instead of screaming in his car seat.

Matteo loved reading the map (once he stopped white-knuckling Steve's finger) and following our progress up the peninsula.



We made it! All of us in front of the Willie Mays statue (oops, Auntie Kelly cut off his torso) at AT&T Park.




Taking a swing out in the kid's field- Matteo got a great hit but then (like all the other kids) ran the wrong way.
